How to import the quick replies from a CSV file in the Facebook Chatbot app

In the Facebook Chatbot app, you have the option to create quick replies individually within the app, or you can streamline the process by importing them from a CSV file. To ensure the correct formatting of your CSV file, you can download an example CSV file from the Import modal for reference.

When importing quick replies from a CSV file, you have the flexibility to assign them to desired categories. Simply select the desired categories in the Import Modal before uploading the CSV file.

Please note that team members can only import quick replies from a CSV file if they have enabled two specific permissions in their role: Allow Chatbot Configuration Access and Allow Quick Replies Creation. These permissions grant team members the necessary access to import and manage quick replies effectively. See Team Permissions for Facebook Moderator for more information.

To import quick replies from the Facebook Chatbot app, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Quick Replies section within the app.
  2. Locate the dropdown menu button located next to the New Reply button.
  3. Click on the dropdown menu button.
  4. Select the Import option from the dropdown menu.
