How to invite Team Members or Chat Agents to the WhatsApp Chatbot app

The WhatsApp Chatbot app offers the option to collaborate with a team, allowing team members to access and utilize its features. The team administrator holds the authority to grant access to specific data based on each team member's role.

Key Steps to Invite a Team Member or Chat Agent:

  1. Role-based Access:

    • The team administrator can determine the level of access for team members based on their assigned roles.
    • WhatsApp accounts accessible to each team role can be specified, limiting members to view and reply only to conversations associated with the permitted accounts.
  2. Conversation Access:

    • Within each conversation, a list is displayed, showing team members who have access to the WhatsApp account associated with that conversation.
    • Team members can invite additional members to join and access specific conversations.
  3. Invitation Process:

    • When inviting a team member, a direct message containing the conversation's direct link is sent to them.
    • This enables seamless access for team members, providing a direct route to the conversation they have been invited to participate in. Navigate to Conversation info page by clicking on the Conversation ID on Conversations page. Click on Actions Tab from the right panel. Select Team Members to invite from the Team Members section.

By effectively utilizing the team collaboration feature, the WhatsApp Chatbot app enhances coordination and communication among team members. The team administrator can tailor access permissions based on roles, ensuring appropriate data visibility and enabling efficient workflow management.
