An overview of TikTok Metrics in the Social Analytics app
Followers
Followers is the name of the metric available for TikTok in the Overview page. This metric shows the number of followers achieved on TikTok in a selected period of time.
The achieved or lost followers are grouped by days and the user can see in which days the new followers had been lost or achieved. The metric shows ethe total number of followers and the oscillation in percentage.
It is possible to export the metric in CSV or PDF files.
Likes
Likes is the name of the metric which shows the total number of likes achieved on TikTok. When someone likes your videos on TikTok, the like is saved and displayed in the video and in your profile. This metric shows these likes.
The metric Likes is available in the Social Analytics app > Overview page. There you will see likes grouped by days, total likes and the percentage of lost or achieved likes for the selected time interval.
It is possible to export the Likes metric reports in CSV and PDF files.
Overall Performance
Overall Performance is the name of the metric in the TikTok platform (in the Social Analytics app), which displays some general data about the selected TikTok accounts.
The TikTok API is very basic and for this reason the Overall Performance metric has only 3 reports:

Followers - shows the number of followers.

Likes - shows the number of Likes.
- Follows - shows the number of followed users.
The metric shows in the percentage the number of followers or likes achieved or lost in the selected time interval.
The reports can be exported in CSV or PDF files.
Recent Videos
Recent Videos is the name of the metric which shows the 5 newest videos from a TikTok account. If multiple accounts are selected, only the 5 newest videos will be shown.
In the Recent Videos metric is displayed the videos:

Description - if missing will be showed the video link.

Views - the number of video views.

Shares - the number of the times when a video was shared.

Comments - shows how many comments has a video.
- Likes - shows how many likes has a video.
The video's cover could be downloaded, but it is available for only 6 hours as per TikTok policies. For this reason, the video's cover is not displayed.
It is possible to export the Recent Videos in CSV or PDF files.
Posting Time
Posting Time is the name of the metric which shows when is the best time to publish videos on TikTok. This metric collects the videos information and identifies which hours are the best to publish a video on TikTok.
Is important to have same timezone on TikTok like in the Social Analytics app because the API returns the timestamp and it is not possible to calculate the hours if the timezone is different.
How works this metric?

First of all, the user should connect the TikTok accounts in the system.

After this, the metric will monitor the videos of the connected accounts.
- The colors intensity depends on the popularity of the hours.
The hours format can be changed to 12/24 hours.
The first day of the week can start on Sunday or Monday.
The metric can be exported in CSV or PDF files.
