How to use the Team Roles permissions in the SMS Manager app

The SMS Manager app allows to restrict the usage by team roles and the users can have control on anything their team members are doing.

You can access the team settings: Setings > Team Settings > Desired Role > SMS Manager by Twilio

Available permissions for SMS Manager which could be enabled by team role:

  • Allow SMS Manager for Twilio Access - this permission provides access to the app. Without this permission the team members won't be able to access the SMS Manager app.
  • Allow Configuration Access - this permission allows to access the Twilio phone numbers and phone numbers lists.
  • Allow Numbers Editing - this permission allows to change the Twilio phone number status.
  • Numbers Access - this permission allows to enable/disable access to a Twilio phone number. If is disabled the team member not only won't be able to see it, but won't be able even to use it to send SMSs.
  • Allow Lists Editing - this permission allows to add/remove phone numbers from a phone numbers list.
  • Lists Access - this permission allows to access the lists. They are necessary even to allow the user sending SMS.
  • Allow SMS Creation - this permission allows to send SMSs.
  • Allow SMS Editing - this permission allows to edit SMSs.
  • Save SMS Queue - this permission saves all created SMSs in the queue and they should be approved or rejected.
  • Allow SMS Cancel - this permission allows to cancel the sending of a scheduled or planned SMSs.
  • Allow SMS Moderation - the team members with this permission will be able to approve or reject an SMS which is in the queue.
